Procedure

Application qualifications
Individuals who have completed senior high schools or the equivalent (education 12 years or more) in own country.
In case of the January Student, 4 level of JLPT is necessary.
Study period
April Student … 2 years at most
July Student … 1 year and 9 months at most
October Student … 1 year and 6 months at most
January Student … 1 year and 3 months (4 level of JLPT is necessary.)
Application period
April Student … September 1st to the end of October
July Student … January 1st to the end of February
October Student … March 1st to the end of April
January Student … July 1st to the end of July

Application fee
¥ 20,000. - (at application, includes tax)
Selection system
After the application document is examined, we interview the applicant.

* However We close the acceptance as soon as the fixed numbers are full.


Required Documentation

■Applicant
  1. Application form (prescribed by our school)
  2. Resume and purpose of application (prescribed by our school)
  3. Diploma or graduation certificate issued by the last school
  4. Transcript issued by the last school
  5. 8 photographs (3cm×4cm, taken within 3 months)
  6. Copy of passport (when the applicant has)
  7. Studying Japanese certificate
■Guarantor

(A) Self payment

  1. Document of applicant's bank account balance
  2. Occupation document issued by his/her company

(B) Parents or relatives

  1. Oath for payment of expenses (prescribed by our school)
  2. Document of bank account balance in the name of guarantor
    (*The balance that corresponds to 1.5 million yen or more is necessary.)
  3. Occupation document issued the company or business permit issued by some public organization.
  4. Document to prove relationship with the applicant.
  5. Others (depend on the country)

*Those documents required differ each country. Please ask to TCC Japanese Institute.

Tuition & Fees

When the applicant enters a school

Basically, these costs are paid before the applicant enters a school.

The tax is included in the following tuition and fees.

Tuition & other payments are not refundable in principle.

If you pay a half year of tuition and fees(*¥361,000.), you should pay the rest within 6 months after the applicant enters a school.
Entrance fee ¥ 50,000. -
Tuition(1 year) ¥ 520,000. - (a half year: ¥ 260,000. - )
Text books & Misc. ¥ 50,000. -
Insurance(1 year) ¥ 2,000. - (a half year: ¥1,000. - )
Total ¥ 622,000. - (*¥ 361,000. - )

When the applicant renews the visa
If you pay the tuition and fees in installments, the amount of ( * ) is paid.

Text books & Misc. ¥ 12,000. - (a half year:¥ 6,000. - )

Schedule to entering a school

  1. You submit all documents required to TCC Japanese Institute within the due date. The documents are checked, and TCC applies to Tokyo Immigration for them.
  2. When the certificate of the eligibility (visa) from Tokyo Immigration is received, TCC contacts the applicant. So you must remit the tuition and fees to TCC's bank account immediately.
  3. After payment is confirmed, the eligibility and the entrance permit are mailed to the applicant.
  4. The applicant applies to a local Japanese consulate for the visa with the eligibility and the passport, etc.
  5. After you get the permission of the visa, reserve the ticket of the airplane, and inform the day of entering Japan to TCC.
